Here’s an application process for Trucare Red Oxide Metal Primer:
Step 1: Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 2: Apply a first Trucare Red Oxide Metal coat with a brush and paint.
Step 3: Sand the surface again with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean.
Step 4: If required smoothen the surface by filling dents with thin coats of Trucare Knifing Paste Filler. Allow it to dry for 4 - 6 hours. Sand lightly with 180 emery paper and wipe clean.
Step 5: Apply a second coat of Trucare Red Oxide Metal, by brushing it on areas where Knifing Paste Filler is applied.
Step 6: Sand the surface for the third time with Emery Paper 320 and wipe clean.
